e-Agri - Preparing the way for Europe Workshop

The e-Agri Landscaping workshop aims to help co-create an EU-wide vision for how the revolution in “e-” technologies can fundamentally address the future global challenges to Sustainable Agriculture and Food Awareness.

The workshop will involve plenary sessions and facilitated group debate with 100 key UK, EU and international delegates drawn from the Agri-food sector, Technology providers, Business development, Funding bodies and Media.

What are the key challenges for food production and water security?

What could technology do to address the issues?

How can you engage with the global challenges and opportunities?

Aim of workshop

To map how emerging ESP and ICT research may be exploited to mitigate the effects on global food supply from climate change, population growth and demographics. This will be in relation to the 2030 time horizon.

Workshop format

The workshop will involve plenary sessions and facilitated group debate with 100 key UK, EU and international delegates drawn from the Agri-food sector, Technology providers, Business development, Funding bodies and Media.
