National Instruments and the University of Manchester have developed a strong partnership over the past few years.
NI regularly delivers lectures on instrumentation to engineering undergraduates, contributes a prize for the best final 4th year project and has donated data acquisition equipment to the University.
In 2009 the University of Manchester, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering purchased twenty NI ELVIS (National Instruments Educational Laboratory Virtual Instrumentation Suite) units for a laboratory within the faculty, further developing National Instruments relationship with the university and department. These systems will be used for teaching analogue and digital electronics undergraduate course modules, as well as project-based work.

The NI Engineering Scholarship Programme is available to students studying an Engineering or Physics Degree, allowing those who have shown outstanding academic achievement to develop their professional engineering career.
