Radar

The Group is actively involved in radar research where various aspects of the radar system, radio propagation and environmental impact are addressed. With strong links to industry and other academic institutes in Europe and North America, the MACS group radar research is considered one of the leading groups to address and solve challenging problems facing the aviation, navigation and metrological radars.

The educational focus of the MACS group radar research is the training of radar researchers at post graduate level and in the delivery of post-graduate short courses of radars and their applications. Through invited talks and in-house seminars, young researchers and PhD students may also have the chance to meet world renowned radar experts through our wide network of industrial partners and academic links.
