Project Work

All years of the course have a high level of practical interaction. Some of the practical elements of the complete course are listed here.

Student Blogs

See what the students themselves are working on. Two students (Maria and Martin) have blogged, taken photos and videos week-by-week on their time though this semester.

Martin has made a robot and Maria has been working on a colour detector for the visually impared.

myDAQ - a lab in a bag

The myDAQ is designed specifically for students, to provide them with the technology to experience hands-on learning anytime, anywhere. Within a single plug-and-play USB device, the myDAQ combines portability with a suite of eight of the most commonly used instruments in the lab.

Embedded Systems Project

In the first year students are given a microcontroller development system and a kit of parts to construct a versatile input/output interface. You will be required to build and design the main subsystems of a small robot buggy.
