"I chose the University of Manchester as it is one of the top universities in the world. I have been interested in Engineering and Technology from my childhood so studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Manchester has given me a perfect platform to study and to gain more knowledge.

Manchester has a big social side also and there is something for everyone whatever thier interests. What I like about the Faculty at the University is that they are all experts in their respective fields.

There is a good mix of theory and practical content throughout the course, and we are involved in a team or individual projects throughout the time at university giving us good exposure to develop various skills.

The School makes sure that they listern to students' opinions on all matters concerning the School through its student reps. It also has a number of scholarships for its students with myself being a proud recipient of three of them - International Excellence Undergraduate Scholarship, BP Scholarship and IET Undergraduate Scholarship.

All in all, coming to study Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Manchester has been one of my best decisions and it is just getting better with time."
