School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering

The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering is one of the largest of this dicipline in the UK. The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering is ranked among the elite in the Research Assessment Exercise. The Electrical and Electronic Engineering school housing a 2MV impulse generator, 800kV AC test set and 600kV DC test set, the National Grid HV Research Centre is the largest of any UK University. The School has a long history imbued in its traditions and research. The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering will house The e-Agri Research Cluster, integrating advanced research in ICT, sensing, electronics, control and power systems to enable a new future for global food supply and energy security.
