Power Conversion Group

The Power Conversion Group is playing a key role in the recently established EPSRC National Centre for Power Electronics, which focuses on sustaining and growing power electronics in the UK by delivering transformative and exploitable new technologies, highly skilled people and by providing long-term strategic value to the UK power electronics industry.

The Centre comprises a coordinating hub, which is based at Nottingham University, and four interconnected research themes: Devices, Component Integration, Converters and Integrated Drives. The Power Conversion Group is leading the Converters theme and is also participating in the Components and Integrated Drives themes.
