The Electromagnetics Centre

The Electromagnetics Centre for Microwave and Millimetre-wave Design and Applications has been made possible by a Joint Infrastructure (JIF) Award of £1.9M by the Engineering & Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and the Office of Science and Technology (OST). It builds upon the international reputation of the Microwave Engineering Research Group and it provides opportunities to extend existing research programmes and establish new ones. Find out more about The Electromagnetics Centre.

The Electromagnetics Centre research interests extend over a wide frequency range from 100 MHz to 200 GHz. The aims are to model and optimise microwave and millimetre-wave components and circuits for communication and radar systems, to design instrumentation for industrial applications and to understand and control electromagnetic radiation.
