Jayawan Wijekoon

Currently, I am reading for a PhD degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at the University of Manchester. This PhD is carried out as a part of the “CoLaMN ” project, aiming at producing novel brain-inspired VLSI computing architecture based on the laminar microcircuit of the neocortex.

I received the MPhil degree in EEE from the University of Manchester, UK in 2007, and the MSc in Electronic Communications and Computer Engineering from the University of Nottingham, UK in 2005. I completed the BSc (Hons) degree in EEE from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 2002.
