Joydeep Pal

I started my PhD at the University of Manchester in 2010, having
successfully completed MS in Nanoelectronics with Distinction at Manchester earlier in 2010.

In 2007, I completed a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering with Ist Class at the Heritage Institute of Technology, under the West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT), India.

I also have Industrial Experience of 2 years as Project Engineer with Wipro Technologies in the software development of international clients.

 

Atomistic modelling using empirical interatomic potentials and ab initio Density Functional Theory applied to Group IV (namely Silicon) and III-V semiconductors, especially the Group III-Nitride semiconductors.
