Application procedure

‌If you would like to make an application to the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, you can apply onlineas this enables us to respond to you as quickly as possible.

When to apply

We accept applications for Postgraduate Taught study throughout the year and you may apply up to a year before your intended start date. Our MSc programmes commence in September. For overseas students we advise you apply at least three months before you intend to start your studies in the UK in order to allow enough time to process your application and apply for a visa.

Completing the application

When completing an online application form please attach the following.

  1. Copies (not originals) of Degree Certificates and official academic transcripts of previous study. If these are in a language other than English, please provide an official translation
  2. Copies (not originals) of any English Language Certification, eg. IELTS or TOEFL (if applicable)
  3. Two Referee Report Forms and accompanying letters of reference (these should be people who have knowledge of your academic ability)
