Entrance requirements for all undergraduate courses
Completion of High School (Year 12) Certificate with an excellent overall average, including high grades in mathematics and physical science. An ATAR grade of 97.00 is typically required. Qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis and offers tailored to the state / territory where you are studying.

Entrance requirements for all undergraduate courses
Award of Alberta High School Diploma with at least five grade 12 courses numbered 30 or 31, including:
- 85% in grade 12 Mathematics or Calculus (including grade 12 AP Calculus AB)
- 85% in grade 12 Physics
- 85% in three further academic subjects
Acceptable English language qualifications include:
- 70% or grade B achieved in the High School Diploma, provided grades 10-12 have been studied in Canada and regardless of whether English was studied as a subject.

Award of British Columbia Secondary School Diploma with at least five grade 12 subjects, including:
- 85% in grade 12 Mathematics or Calculus (including grade 12 AP Calculus AB)

- 85% in three further academic subjects

Senior High School Diploma
Entrance requirements for all undergraduate courses
Applicants who have completed the Senior High School Diploma are required to undertake a foundation year or year 1 of undergraduate studies in order to be considered for first year entry. We require 80% average from High School Grades 11-12 with 80% average in Mathematics and Physics, plus a foundation course or completion of Year 1 of degree-level studies, including a significant maths component and awarded by a recognised institution. Qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Award of Baccalauréat Général with an average of 15/20 including:
- A minimum of 15/20 in the final year of Specialty Mathematics, which must be studied in both Premiere and Terminale
- A minimum of 15/20 in the final year of one of Specialty Engineering Sciences, Digital and Computer Sciences, or Physics and Chemistry, which must be studied in both Premiere and Terminale
Option International du Baccalauréat (OIB) / Baccalauréat Français International (BFI) with an average of 14/20 including:
- A minimum of 14/20 in the final year of Specialty Mathematics, which must be studied in both Premiere and Terminale
- A minimum of 14/20 in the final year of one of Specialty Engineering Sciences, Digital and Computer Sciences, or Physics and Chemistry, which must be studied in both Premiere and Terminale
Acceptable English language qualifications include:
- 15/20 in the Baccalauréat Général (English must be taken as one of the two Foreign Languages and not as an additional option)
- 12/20 in OIB or BFI English (including English Literature)
Greece

Entrance requirements for all undergraduate courses
Award of Upper Secondary School Leaving Certificate with 17 overall. Also required is 17 in Mathematics and 17 in either Physics or Chemistry, in the Panhellenic specialised subject examinations.
Hong Kong

Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE)
Entrance requirements for all undergraduate courses
Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education with 555, including:
- 5 in Mathematics (compulsory part)
- 5 in either M1 (Calculus and Statistics) or M2 (Algebra and Calculus)
- 5 in Chemistry or Physics
Acceptable English language qualifications include:
- HKDSE Core English at level 5
India

Grade XII examinations awarded by CBSE or ISC National Boards with:
- an average of 85%, including 85% in Mathematics (not Applied Maths) and 85% in Physics or Chemistry
Grade XII examinations awarded by West Bengal State Board with:
- an average of 80%, inc. 80% in Mathematics (not Applied Maths) and 80% in Physics or Chemistry
Grade XII examinations awarded by Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra or Tamil Nadu State Boards with:
- an average of 90%, 90% in Mathematics (not Applied Maths) and 90% in Physics or Chemistry
Acceptable English language qualifications include:
- 85% in India Standard XII (Standard 12) English (NOT 'Functional English') if it is from either National Boards (CBSE or ISC)
- 90% from one of the following State Boards: Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu
- 80% from West Bengal State Board

Kazakhstan

Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools' (NIS) Grade 12 Certificate
Entrance requirements for undergraduate courses
Award of NIS Grade 12 Certificate with grade A in each compulsory and elective subject. Must include Mathematics and two electives at advanced level, including one of Physics, Computer Science or Chemistry.
Malaysia

Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (Malaysia Higher School Certificate) or Matrikulasi (Matriculation Certificate)
Entrance requirements for all undergraduate courses
- AAA in three STPM subjects including Mathematics and either Chemistry or Physics Or
- AAAA in the Matrikulasi, including grade A in Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry, and English
Acceptable English language qualifications include:
- Malaysian O Level English language (1119) at grade B or above
Please note we do not accept Polytechnic or Technical Diploma qualifications as an alternative to the requirements listed above.
New Zealand

National Certificate in Educational Achievement (NCEA)
Entrance requirements for all undergraduate courses
National Certificate in Educational Achievement with 50 credits at the grade of Merit or above at Level 3, including at least 15 credits in Mathematics at Excellence, 12 credits in Physics at Excellence and 12 further Level 3 credits at Excellence.

The award of 3 Singapore Cambridge A Levels at H2 level with grades AAA including Mathematics and either Physics, Electronics, Further Mathematics, Chemistry or Computing.
South Africa

Entrance requirements for all undergraduate courses
Achieve South Africa National Senior Certificate with grade 7 in five examinations including Mathematics and Physical Science.
Acceptable English language qualifications include:
- English Home Language is required at grade 6 or B.
Spain

Award of the Titulo de Bachiller with an overall average grade of 9, with grades 9,9,9 in three subjects including Maths and either Physics or Chemistry.
United States of America

High School Graduation Diploma and Advanced Placement Exams
Entrance requirements for all undergraduate courses
Award of High School Graduation Diploma with a GPA of 3.0 or above, and 3 APs with scores of 5, 5, 5, including either:
- AP Calculus AB (subscore not accepted) and AP Physics C
or
- AP Calculus BC (subscore not accepted) and either AP Physics C, Physics 1 or Physics 2, or AP Chemistry.
Alternative requirements are:
Award of the US High School Graduation Diploma with a GPA of 3.0 or above, and 2 APs (achieved in grade 11) with scores of 5, 5, including either:
- AP Calculus AB (subscore not accepted) and AP Physics C
or
- AP Calculus BC (subscore not accepted) and either AP Physics C, Physics 1 or Physics 2, or AP Chemistry.
Plus
- Grade A in an Advanced Placement class in one further academic subject from the fall semester of Year 12.
Acceptable English language qualifications include:
- Grade B achieved in the High School Graduation Diploma provided years 10-12 have been studied in the USA and regardless of whether English was studied as a subject.
